Headmasterji: The man with literacy mission is extremely proud and excited to share their latest work The Real Story. The project might have been a lengthy one, but this was one story that really needed to be told.

Story of Headmasterji: The man with literacy mission
Headmasterji was born on 13 may 1913 .
He got married to janki devi in 1999.
He was the first graduate in 1932 from Surajghar, Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan ,India .
He was also the first post graduate from surajghar.
He was a freedom fighiter who Participated in the Indian freedom struggle during his school days.
In Lahore he met Sardar vallabhbari Patel.
During the India-Pakistan partition He witnessed the difficulties and the blood shed when he was travelling from Lahore to India.
He closely worked with GD Birla and RK Dalmia.
He had a deep interest in education as he felt a need of education in India after the independence.
He believed that education was the key for development of people and place from all sections of society.
He started the first coeducational school in Surajgghar in 1936.
He was responsible for the first youth community center, gaushala, cattle farm in suraghghar i.e Shree Krishna Parishad.
He worked with Vinoba Bhave for bhoodhan aandolan in shekhewati in 1958-1961.
It was at this time when he first met Jawaharlal Nehru the past prime minister of India.
During the time when in India women/girls were not allowed to study he pioneered promoting coeducation.
He worked closely with Dr. Haribhu Upadhaya (the first education minister of Rajasthan) for the betterment of school education system.
He was the principal of PB high school from 1952-1971.
He continued his effort for promoting his mission of literacy his whole life till demise in 1977.
In 2016 a book on his life was released by Sandeep Sharma.
In 2017 Indian postal department honored his contribution towards education by releasing special cancellation stamp and postal cove with his photograph after 40 years of his demise.
